Background
Finland is the home of the European sauna tradition, and Finnish sauna bathing takes two traditional forms. Classically, you sprinkle water over hot stones in a temperature of 75-85C and a relative humidity of 15-20%, you would then feel the unique, tingling sensation as wave upon wave of heat penetrates deep into your body.
The second variation is the dry sauna bath, at 90-100°C and only 5% relative humidity, this is only for those who like the searing sensation of heat on the skin, when perspiration is the only way to cool the body.

Sauna Options
Bos Leisure have specialised for many years in the construction and installation of indoor and outdoor saunas. We are able to supply, generally from stock, Tylo Saunas and Harvia Saunas and all manner of associated accessories, ranging from Hygrometers and thermometers to headrests and essences. DIY Saunas
If you are an able DIY’er, an option is building your own sauna. You can create any size and shape to suit the space required and we carry all the specialist equipment in stock, including the wall and bench timber. If you contact us with a size, we can work out a quotation for the materials required. An alternative option is to build the shell of the sauna, and ask us to make the interior features for the sauna, such as benches and backrests etc
Custom Built Saunas
Finally, for both the domestic and commercial markets, we are able to custom build saunas to a high standard. This enables a sauna to be constructed for almost any room shape, from a simple rectangular shape to a more complicated round sauna. These custom build saunas are built to a high specification by our expert joiners and will last for many years. These Custom Built Saunas regularly include hidden heaters and LED downlights to make the sauna a more pleasant feature.
Commercial Saunas
We build and install a large number of commercial saunas throughout the United Kingdom and we deal with many large hotel chains, councils, health spas and apartment complexes. We carry out routine sauna maintenance, supply and install new heaters, elements, lights, benches etc. We also offer a comprehensive sauna refurbishment service for saunas whose structure is fine but the interior is looking tired. We also re-clad the interior to a high standard and fit new benches, backrests, lights, skirting panels etc. Essentially you get a new sauna interior, without the major inconvenience of removing the entire structure.
We carry out maintenance and supply spares on a large number of sauna heaters, including Tylo, Helo, Harvia and Certikin. We also supply spares for their respective control panels.
